Battery Backup for Basement Pumps
The Delta PowerMaxx Battery backup is designed to power V3 basement pumps when there is a loss of mains power. If the pump loses power, the battery backup kicks in and keeps the pump running for up to four days. This allows the sump pumps to continue to safely discharge water from a basement even during a power cut.
How it works?
This battery backup is specifically designed to run one or two V3 groundwater pumps without mains power. When power fails, the pump(s) automatically take power from the PowerMaxx. This battery backup will have been fully charged during mains operation. It will automatically recharge when mains power returns
How long does the battery last?
The PowerMaxx battery can run 2 x V3 ground water pumps without mains power for up to four days depending on the number of cycles per hour. It can sit in standby mode for at least 10 days and is virtually inaudible.
Installation is simple. PowerMaxx is free standing and can be installed in any dry ventilated area. As this unit is fitted in the power line, no additional electrical spurs are required.
Note: This unit will only power V3 ground water pumps. This unit will not power a foul pump.
