Basement Drainage Channel without Upstand
The Delta drainage channel is placed at the floor-wall joint around the perimeter of a basement. It is designed to collect and channel water from cavity drainage membranes to the nearest evacuation point. This may be a natural drainage point or a sump and pump unit.
This basement drainage channel comes without an upstand and is designed specifically for when it is not possible to position the channel directly against the wall or where the channel may need to cross and open area for example doorways. This can be particularly useful in older houses with uneven walls. It can also be used in across floor applications.
When it is possible to lay the drainage channel next to the wall, we stock a version with a 20mm upstand.
The channel has holes cut into the top and side to allow water from surface membranes to enter the channel.
Installation
The drainage channel is bedded into a preformed channel at the floor-wall joint.
